Australian tennis player Alexei Popyrin married his fiancée Amy Pederick in a stunning outdoor ceremony in France on September 19.
The couple exchanged vows at Chateau Lacanaud in the south-west of the country. Popyrin, 27, shared the news on social media with a series of wedding day photographs.
Popyrin wore a tailored brown tuxedo, while Pederick wore a traditional white wedding gown. The ceremony took place in a natural setting, with the couple sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.
Fellow tennis personalities and acquaintances offered congratulations online. "Gorgeous! Congratulations x," commented Costeen Hatzi, while tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis remarked, "So this is why bro was growing his hair, congrats guys!"
The wedding comes nearly two years after Popyrin and Pederick confirmed their engagement in November 2024. The couple first met in 2018 and have been together since they were 19 years old. Pederick is a professional physiotherapist who also travels with Popyrin and contributes to his fitness and training.
Popyrin, born in Sydney to parents of Russian descent, began his tennis career at a young age. His family relocated to Dubai and Spain during his childhood due to his father's work, where he lived near fellow professional tennis player Alex de Minaur.
Popyrin and Pederick share a passion for travel, often posting pictures from their trips on social media, including recent visits to Paris and the Seychelles.
