Adrian Meronk staged a remarkable comeback on Sunday to win the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship by two shots, ending a three-year wait for his fifth DP World Tour victory. Meronk carded a final-round 68 at St Andrews to finish at 20-under par, surging past overnight leader Casey Jarvis.

Jarvis, who began the final day with a two-stroke advantage, struggled in the closing stages. After birdies on the fourth and fifth holes, he dropped shots on the ninth and 11th. Meronk also faltered at the 17th, bogeying the hole to reduce his lead to two shots. However, Jarvis's own struggles continued with a bogey on the penultimate hole, ending his chances of forcing a playoff.

Meronk expressed his elation after the victory, stating, "It's unreal. I never cry but this one feels special. It's been a tough year and to win here after ten years since turning pro, it's a dream come true." He described the walk up the 18th fairway as an "amazing walk" where he reflected on the history of the Old Course.

Jarvis ultimately tied for second place alongside Niklas Nørgaard, both finishing at 18-under par. Scotland's Michael Stewart secured a tie for fourth place with Tommy Fleetwood at 17-under par, a notable performance for the 36-year-old who was competing on the Tartan Pro Tour the previous week.

American golfer Brooks Koepka finished in a tie for sixth place at 16-under par, marking his first top-ten finish on both the DP World Tour and PGA Tour since March. He shared the position with last year's Dunhill Links champion, Robert MacIntyre.
