Adam Vinatieri, a recently inducted NFL Hall of Famer, delivered a speech that included playful jabs at former coach Bill Belichick, particularly targeting his relationship with 25-year-old Jordon Hudson. Belichick, 74, and Hudson have drawn attention due to their nearly 50-year age difference.

"I thought it was because training camp had already started, but in truth, it’s because he’s judging his girlfriend’s cheerleading competition," Vinatieri quipped to laughter from the audience. "All jokes aside, in my opinion, Bill is the greatest coach of all time."

Vinatieri also referenced Belichick's absence, suggesting he might be on a recruiting trip at UNC or, as the joke went, attending Hudson's cheerleading event. This remark highlighted the public's awareness and commentary surrounding the couple's age gap.

Hudson and Belichick's relationship has been a topic of public interest since TMZ reported they met on a flight in 2021. They have since made public appearances together, and Belichick has been seen supporting Hudson at her cheerleading competitions. Hudson has also been present on the sidelines during games at the University of North Carolina.

Earlier in 2025, Hudson notably interrupted a "CBS Sunday Mornings" interview when journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how they met, stating, "We're not talking about this."
