49ers' Dre Greenlaw Ejected After Headbutting Seahawks' Ernest Jones

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw was ejected during the second quarter of the team's Week 5 game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The ejection followed a personal foul for a late hit on Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold with 6:23 remaining in the second quarter.

After the initial penalty, Greenlaw became involved in an altercation on the Seattle sideline with Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV. The situation escalated when Greenlaw, while still wearing his helmet, headbutted Jones, who was not wearing his helmet at the time. Jones had appeared to briefly grab Greenlaw's facemask prior to the headbutt.

Greenlaw's ejection left the 49ers without one of their key linebackers for the remainder of the game.
