ESPN LA 710 radio host and former USC star Su'a Cravens was hospitalized after experiencing a sudden health scare that caused him to miss his Sunday show. Cravens announced on X, formerly Twitter, that he began vomiting profusely while en route to work and was diagnosed with vertigo.

"Sorry to my ESPN LA family and listeners about missing today’s show… I spent most of my day in the hospital," Cravens posted. "Was literally 3 miles away from SoFi this morning on my way to work before I had to pull over and started barfing profusely on the side of the road before almost passing…"

He stated that he had to call his uncle to pick him up because he felt as though he was going to pass out. Cravens reported that all of his tests came back negative and he expects a full recovery once a nerve in his ear calms down.

After a two-year NFL career with Washington and Denver, Cravens transitioned to sports media. He began as a sports analyst for CBS’s “Sports Central” in 2022, later worked as a social analyst at the Big Ten Network, and joined ESPN in August 2025.
