Kate Tolo, the girlfriend of biohacker Bryan Johnson, has shared details of her extensive biohacking routine, stating it has resulted in her skin age being nine years younger than her actual age. Tolo, who is 30, claims her skin age is 21, a reversal she attributes to a scientific approach and a significant change in her habits after meeting Johnson.

Tolo detailed her protocol on social media, emphasizing that she achieved this younger skin appearance without resorting to Botox or fillers. She noted that over a three-year period, instead of aging three years, her skin age reversed by five years. Five years prior, Tolo described her lifestyle as involving frequent McDonald's consumption and minimal skincare, a stark contrast to her current regimen.

She explained that skin aging encompasses various factors, including bone structure, collagen levels, hydration, elasticity, and tissue placement. Tolo's skin age estimation is based on an assessment of eight specific skin markers, measured using multispectral imaging. This technology analyzes features such as spots, pores, wrinkles, texture, UV damage, and redness, though it does not assess collagen, elasticity, or bone structure.

Her comprehensive skin treatments include microdoses of Accutane for acne and a variety of supplements such as hyaluronic acid, Vitamins C and D, Omega-3, and copper. Tolo also prioritizes consistent sleep, proper nutrition, regular exercise, and strict avoidance of UV exposure. She has also utilized treatments like red light therapy, microneedling, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), dermatological lasers, Sculptra, and Sofwave.

Red light therapy is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and potential to stimulate collagen production, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and improve overall skin quality. Microneedling, which involves creating tiny punctures in the skin to encourage natural healing and collagen production, has also been linked to serious complications in some cases.

Tolo also highlighted several of Bryan Johnson's Blueprint products, including collagen, extra-virgin olive oil, Longevity Mix, Omega-3, Advanced Antioxidants, Essential capsules, Serum, Moisturizer, and Cleanser, as beneficial components of her routine.

While Tolo's skin age reflects a younger biological profile, she clarified that this metric does not necessarily mean she visually appears 21. She has also experimented with Botox and fillers for facial balancing, describing it as a separate process.

Johnson, known for his own rigorous anti-aging regimen, publicly announced his relationship with Tolo late last year. The couple has engaged in various shared health experiments, including Johnson sharing Tolo's vaginal microbiome report and a photo from a gynecological exam, which he stated revealed a potential endometriosis diagnosis.
