Zazie Beetz announced she is expecting her first child, revealing her pregnancy bump at the premiere of the Apple TV+ crime drama series "Nocturne" in New York City on Tuesday. The 35-year-old actress, accompanied by her husband David Rysdahl, graced the red carpet for the screening of the series, which is set to release on October 30.
Beetz wore a low-waisted, striped maxi skirt with a matching unfastened top, complemented by sheer black lace boots. She kept accessories minimal, opting for silver earrings and dramatic smoky eye makeup, with a glossy nude lip color.
Beetz and Rysdahl, who married in Germany in 2023, first met at an acting workshop in 2014. The actress confirmed their engagement in 2022. The couple also appeared together in an episode of "Black Mirror" and the 2018 film "Dead Pigs."
They also co-founded a production company called Sleepy Poppy. Rysdahl has spoken about their professional relationship, telling Awards Radar in 2024 that they act as each other's acting coaches.
