Netflix is set to release its new comedy series, 'The Hawk,' on July 16. The 10-episode show stars Will Ferrell as Lonnie Hawkins, a formerly top-ranked golfer in 2004 who is determined to recapture his past glory and complete golf's grand slam.

Ferrell, known for his roles in "Elf," "Step Brothers," and "Daddy's Home," is a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member. He leads an ensemble cast that includes fellow "SNL" alum Molly Shannon and comedian Fortune Feimster.

Shannon plays Stacy Hawkins, Lonnie's estranged wife, an ambitious socialite and entrepreneur who reportedly despises her husband. Ferrell and Shannon have previously shared the screen in "Superstar" and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."

Jimmy Tatro portrays Lance Hawkins, Lonnie's son and an emerging golf star who serves as his father's main rival. Tatro is recognized for his YouTube series "Life According to Jimmy" and roles in "Home Economics" and "Theater Camp."

The series also features Luke Wilson as Golden Fisk, Lonnie's longtime rival and a fan-favorite professional golfer. Wilson's acting credits include "Legally Blonde," "Old School," and "Rushmore."

Fortune Feimster takes on the role of Sam, Lonnie's loyal but inexperienced caddy. Feimster is also known for her stand-up comedy specials and roles in "The Mindy Project."

Additional cast members include Katelyn Tarver as Natalie Wayne, Lance's fiancée and an aspiring wellness influencer, and Chris Parnell as Anton Floyd, a PGA board member who dislikes Lonnie. Parnell, also an "SNL" veteran, has provided voice work for "Rick and Morty" and "Family Guy."
