Vincent van Gogh's "Châtaigniers en fleurs," also known as "Chestnut Trees in Blossom," has been exhibited in Hong Kong, marking its first public appearance in over six decades. The painting, created in 1890 in the French village of Auvers-sur-Oise shortly before the artist's death, attracted considerable attention from the public.
Sotheby's estimates that the artwork will achieve an auction price of $180 million, potentially setting a new record for any Van Gogh work sold at auction. The painting is scheduled to be auctioned this weekend in New York.
