The veteran musician Todd Rundgren expressed strong criticism of Taylor Swift's artistry in a recent interview.

Rock musician and songwriter Todd Rundgren has stated that Taylor Swift has "ruined music," describing her as the "apotheosis of mediocrity" in a recent interview.
Rundgren, 78, who has been active in the music industry since the late 1960s, shared his views with Vulture. He asserted that Swift "doesn't do anything particularly great except grow hair." He further elaborated that she is "not a great singer. She's not a great songwriter. She's not a great dancer."
Rundgren, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, began his career after signing with Atlantic Records in 1968. He was a member of the psychedelic band Nazz and the progressive rock group Utopia, and also achieved success as a solo artist. His production credits include Meat Loaf's influential album "Bat Out of Hell."
