Tim Curry's last public appearance took place on November 3, 2025, at Town Hall in New York City, where he joined his "Rocky Horror Picture Show" co-stars Patricia Quinn, Barry Bostwick, and Nell Campbell for the film's 50th Anniversary Spectacular Tour. The group posed for photographs during a meet-and-greet portion of the event.

Earlier in the fall of 2025, Curry also made notable appearances related to the beloved cult film. On October 15, he delivered a speech at the Grammy Museum's celebration of the music from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" in Los Angeles. Prior to that, on September 26, he attended the Academy Museum's 50th anniversary event for the film.

During the September event, Curry provided an update on his health, sharing with the audience that he "still can't walk" and would not be singing or dancing in the near future due to ongoing issues with his left leg. The actor had suffered a stroke in 2012, which resulted in paralysis and led him to transition to voice work for 14 years until his return to on-screen acting in 2024's "Stream."

Curry passed away Tuesday night at the age of 80, following more than a decade of serious health challenges. In his last interview in October 2025, he discussed his perspective on mortality, stating that he did not fear death and found the idea of it "very comforting."
