Tim Burton Attends Paris Fashion Week with Daughter Nell

Director Tim Burton brought his daughter Nell as his guest to the Loewe Paris Fashion Week show on Friday. Burton, 68, appeared in good spirits alongside his 18-year-old daughter, whom he shares with former partner Helena Bonham Carter.

Burton wore his signature black ensemble, including a suit and coordinating shirt, accessorized with dark sunglasses. Nell opted for a simple black minidress with pointed black shoes and a lemon yellow handbag. She has previously appeared in some of her father's films as a child.

Burton, known for films such as "Edward Scissorhands," smiled and waved to onlookers before taking his seat on the front row with Nell.

Burton and Bonham Carter, who were together for 13 years, split in 2014. They were never married but share two children: Nell and their son Billy, who is 22.

Bonham Carter spoke about their separation in a 2016 interview with Harper's Bazaar, describing the experience as a "massive grief" and a period of profound identity change. She also noted the importance of acknowledging fragility during such times.

Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton began their relationship in 2001 after he cast her in "Planet of the Apes." They famously resided in adjacent houses, each decorated according to their individual tastes.

Most recently, Burton split with Italian actress and model Monica Bellucci, 62, last year. Their separation was announced via a joint statement that emphasized mutual respect and care.

Burton and Bellucci made their red carpet debut in October 2023, shortly after Bellucci confirmed their relationship. Burton directed Bellucci in "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," their first project together. The pair reportedly first met in 2006 and reconnected in October 2022 at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon.
