‘The Love Hypothesis’ Movie Premieres on Prime Video

The film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood's popular novel, "The Love Hypothesis," is now available for streaming on Prime Video. The romantic comedy stars Lili Reinhart as PhD student Olive Smith and Tom Bateman as her intimidating professor, Adam Carlsen.
The movie's plot centers on Olive, who impulsively kisses Adam to convince her best friend that she is over her ex. This leads to a fake relationship with a set of rules and boundaries. As their arrangement unfolds, the lines between real and pretend begin to blur, forcing Olive to confront her feelings and consider the risks of love.
"The Love Hypothesis" premiered on September 23 at 3 a.m. ET. The film is a streaming exclusive on Prime Video. New subscribers can access the service through a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, which includes Prime Video and other benefits such as free two-day shipping and exclusive deals. Following the trial period, Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. In addition to Reinhart and Bateman, the cast includes Rachel Marsh as Anh, Jaboukie Young-White as Malcolm, Nicholas Duvernay as Jeremy, and Arty Froushan as Tom. The film is based on Hazelwood's 2021 novel of the same name, which originally began as fanfiction.
