The Eagles Add Two More 2027 Dates to Las Vegas Sphere Residency
The iconic band extends its record-breaking run at the immersive venue into January 2027.
The Eagles have announced two additional performances for their record-breaking Las Vegas Sphere residency, extending their run into January 2027. The newly added dates are Jan. 8 and Jan. 9, 2027, bringing the band's total shows at the venue to 74.
These performances will mark the conclusion of the band's November 2026 through January 2027 engagement at the Sphere. Following these additions, The Eagles will have played more shows at the venue than any other act, surpassing Dead & Company's 48 shows, U2, and the Backstreet Boys.
Tickets for the Jan. 8 and 9 dates will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Secondary market sites like Vivid Seats also offer tickets for these dates. Seats for the band's other scheduled performances in 2026 and early 2027 are available now.
Fans attending the shows can expect a setlist of approximately 20 songs, including hits like "Life In The Fast Lane," "Desperado," "Take It To The Limit," "Peaceful, Easy Feeling," and "Hotel California." The residency is noted for its integration of the band's music with the Sphere's immersive visual capabilities.
Americana UK described the experience in a March 2026 review, noting how the venue's wraparound visuals enhance the performance. The review highlighted a spontaneous moment where Vince Gill was featured on "Lyin' Eyes" before being formally introduced, eliciting applause from the audience.
The current lineup for The Eagles' residency includes founding member Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, son of the late Glenn Frey. Original members Glenn Frey and Randy Meisner have passed away.
The Eagles have a decorated history, with six Grammy Awards, over 1,000 concerts performed, and more than 150 million albums sold throughout their career.
Other notable acts scheduled to perform at the Sphere include "The Wizard of Oz" (indefinite run), Metallica (Oct. 2026-March 2027), Backstreet Boys (Dec. 2026-Jan. 2027), Oprah Winfrey (April 2027), John Mayer (April-June 2027), and Carín León (Sept. 2027).
In other tour news, Vince Gill has 12 dates scheduled with Amy Grant at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in December. Information on his remaining 2026 shows is available online.
Past Eagles setlists have featured songs such as "Hotel California," "One of These Nights," "Tequila Sunrise," "Life in the Fast Lane," and "Take It Easy," among others. The shows often include solo hits from members like Joe Walsh and Don Henley.
