Ripley Parker, daughter of actress Thandiwe Newton, has married her fiancée Siofra Dromgoole in a ceremony held at Brympton House in Somerset. Parker, a screenwriter, is also a member of the writing team for the forthcoming HBO series based on the Harry Potter universe.

The intimate wedding took place earlier this summer, with guests including Newton and her ex-husband, film director Ol Parker, who is Ripley's father. Attendees described the event as "magical." Photos shared on Siofra Dromgoole's Instagram account show the couple exchanging vows on June 13. Dromgoole wore a jumpsuit and longline blazer, while Parker was in a strapless ivory gown.

Newton, known for her roles in "Westworld" and "Crash," attended the ceremony in a lemon yellow dress and fascinator. She and Ol Parker, director of "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again," separated in 2022 after 23 years of marriage.

Images from the wedding also captured the couple sharing a kiss, walking through confetti, and cutting a large cake. Ripley Parker's marriage follows her significant career development, securing a role in the writers' room for HBO's "Harry Potter" adaptation. This decade-long project, which began filming in July and is slated for a 2026 premiere, is a high-profile television production.

Parker, 25, is reportedly the youngest writer recruited by showrunner Francesca Gardiner for the series. She joins a team that includes writers Andy Greenwald, Laura Neal, Martha Hillier, and Sam Holcroft, working under Gardiner and director Mark Mylod. Parker has previously written for the Netflix series "Everything Now," a teen drama inspired by her personal experiences with disordered eating, and is adapting Sarah Underwood's fantasy novel "Lies We Sing To The Sea" for film.

Ripley Parker's godfather is actor Jason Isaacs, who portrayed Lucius Malfoy in the original "Harry Potter" film franchise. Parker's sister, Nico Parker, is also pursuing a career in acting, with roles in "Dumbo" and "The Last Of Us."
