Taylor Swift Inducted Into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
At 36, Swift becomes the youngest artist to receive the honor, attending the gala in a velvet Raisa Vanessa dress.
Taylor Swift was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization’s 56th anniversary gala on Monday evening. At 36 years old, Swift is the youngest artist to ever receive this distinction.
For the occasion, Swift wore a burgundy velvet Raisa Vanessa dress featuring a floral print. She paired the strapless mini-dress with purple Jimmy Choo heels adorned with crystal ankle straps. Her hair was styled in a softly curled half-updo.
Swift will join the Class of 2026 inductees, which also includes Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp, and Lee Thomas Miller.
"From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be," Swift said in a statement following her nomination. "I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully, Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of."
She continued, "A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful."
While Swift's career has largely been defined by pop music, she has recently explored her country roots again. Her original song for "Toy Story 5," titled "I Knew It, I Knew You," reached No. 1 on the US country radio chart in September, marking her first time topping that list in 13 years.
