Taylor Swift Fans Joke About Wedding Photo After 'Patient Zero' Video Release

Fans of pop star Taylor Swift joked that a scene in her new music video for "Patient Zero" was the closest they might get to seeing a wedding photo of her and NFL player Travis Kelce. The singer debuted the video on Sunday while accepting the inaugural Artist Director Honors at the 2026 VMAs.

Swift, who reportedly married Kelce in July, appeared in a bridal gown toward the end of the "Patient Zero" music video. The clip, which also features actors Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell, includes a moment where a framed photo shows Swift and Farrell as a couple. This image prompted social media users to playfully comment on the lack of official wedding pictures from Swift and Kelce's ceremony.

One user on X, formerly Twitter, commented, "This is the closest we are going to get to a Tay wedding picture, isn't it?" Another added, "Thank you for the wedding photo Taylor," while a third posted, "WAKE UP TAYLOR SWIFT'S WEDDING PHOTOS DROPPED."

Swift and Kelce reportedly tied the knot over the Fourth of July weekend in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden. The event was marked by large ad billboards at the venue displaying "JusT&T married," and details were later shared by Swift's publicist. Both wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture.

Earlier in the week, a countdown clock on Swift's website had fueled speculation among fans that she might release wedding photos. Instead, she announced new music, dropping four songs from "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore." The new tracks include "Patient Zero," "Pink Clouding," "Babylon," and "Cleveland!," the last of which appears to be a nod to Kelce's hometown.

Kelce was not present at the VMAs, as he is currently in the midst of the NFL season. Swift accepted the Artist Director Honors, remarking on her two decades of involvement in music videos and her personal passion for writing and directing them. In the "Patient Zero" music video, Swift plays the ghost of Farrell's late wife, while Johnson and Farrell portray a couple whose seemingly perfect relationship unravels into a toxic dynamic. Model Cara Delevingne also made a cameo appearance as Farrell's mistress.
