ITV dating show Take Me Out, which ran from 2010 to 2019, is reportedly being considered for a revival with a new female host at the helm. The show, hosted by Paddy McGuinness, featured 30 single women who would turn their lights on or off for each male contestant. McGuinness' signature catchphrase, "no likey, no lighty," became a memorable part of the program.

Producers are said to be looking for a "glamorous female" to replace McGuinness. Names such as Emily Atack and Olivia Attwood are reportedly being considered for the role, with Maya Jama also mentioned, though her association with Love Island may present a conflict. Fremantle, the production company behind the original series, is said to be aiming to maintain the show's "cheeky tone."

Plans are reportedly in development with talks underway with streamers, including Netflix, though the final format of a potential reboot remains uncertain.

During its 11 seasons, Take Me Out produced several success stories, leading to engagements, marriages, and children. Among the notable couples were David Cobain and Adele Vellacott, who married in 2014 and had two children, and Adam Ryan and Beckie Finch, who married in 2017 and have two sons. Andrew Shaw and Lindsay McCartney also married in 2013 after meeting on the show.

The series also provided viewers with numerous iconic and often awkward moments. One such instance involved TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent appearing on a celebrity special in 2017, much to the embarrassment of his sister Natasha, who was one of the contestants.

Another memorable contestant entrance occurred in 2013 when Emma Walton tripped and fell down the stairs, resulting in an awkward wardrobe malfunction. Damion 'The Omen' Merry also went viral for his disastrous appearance in 2013, where he managed to offend most of the female contestants and mistakenly called his date by the wrong name.

More recently, Married At First Sight star Peggy Rose Lawrence was revealed to have appeared on the show in 2012 before her stint on the later dating program. Additionally, musician Whyte Richardson experienced one of the show's most significant rejections, with 25 out of 30 lights being turned off before he even introduced himself.
