Sydney Sweeney Channels 'Home Alone' for Lingerie Campaign

Sydney Sweeney is embracing the holiday spirit by paying homage to the 1990 classic "Home Alone" in a new advertisement for her lingerie and loungewear brand, Syrn.

The campaign video features Sweeney recreating several memorable moments from the beloved Christmas movie. In one scene, she mimics Kevin McCallister's iconic aftershave application by splashing liquid onto her face, placing her hands on her cheeks, and letting out a dramatic scream. Dressed in a plunging navy blue top and a cropped cardigan, Sweeney captures the essence of the film's memorable bathroom sequence.

Another segment of the video shows Sweeney in a burgundy loungewear set, holding a small white dog. As a shadowy figure appears behind a curtain, she widens her eyes in alarm, a playful nod to the film's home-invasion plot. The campaign also includes a scene where Sweeney enjoys a large ice cream sundae, reminiscent of Kevin's solo indulgence.

The advertisement, titled "Hibernation Nation," is part of Syrn's holiday collection. The brand's Instagram account captioned the video: "The Holiday Shop is officially open ♥️ Shop Hibernation Nation early access NOW."

Fans quickly recognized the "Home Alone" references, with many expressing their delight in the comments. "I just realized that this is a reference to the movie Home Alone 😱," one user wrote. Another commented, "Who on earth would leave Sydney Sweeney home alone this Christmas? 😱 😅," while a third simply stated, "Home Alone Syd ! These are the best 🔥."

This is not the first time Sweeney has drawn inspiration from holiday films for her brand's campaigns. Earlier promotional videos for Syrn have featured looks inspired by characters from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Sweeney launched Syrn in January, expanding her ventures beyond acting and producing. In a January interview with Cosmopolitan, she discussed her commitment to creating lingerie that caters to diverse body types and emphasizes comfort. "My designers are all women, and I have an amazing diverse team," she told the magazine. "My models are a beautiful range of body types. I'm always like: 'I want to see it on every body.' I can't be the only model. I need to make sure everyone feels really good in it."

She also shared that a cherished silk bra from her sixth-grade year, worn until it had holes, served as an inspiration for the brand's focus on lasting comfort and quality.
