Stars Shine at Academy Museum Gala
Hollywood luminaries gathered in Los Angeles for the annual fundraiser celebrating cinematic achievements.
The Academy Museum Gala brought out Hollywood's elite to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday night for its sixth annual fundraising event.
The gala serves as the museum's primary fundraiser, supporting its film exhibitions, screenings, and public programs.
Notable attendees included Brittany Snow, who wore a red sequin gown, and Karlie Kloss, arriving in an elegant black sleeveless dress with a fur-trim waistline. Anna Kendrick, Snow's "Pitch Perfect" co-star, attended in a black gown with a low neckline. Mia Goth was seen in a black robe-like gown.
Adrien Brody arrived in a classic black tuxedo alongside his girlfriend Georgina Chapman, who wore a nude illusion gown with black floral appliqués. Kristen Wiig opted for a chic black tuxedo jacket worn topless.
Taylor Swift was scheduled to close the evening with a performance. Her recent work includes the song "I Knew It, I Knew You" for the film "Toy Story 5."
This year's gala honored director John Carpenter with the Luminary Award, actor Colman Domingo with the Vantage Award, and Oscar winner Charlize Theron with the Icon Award.
Academy Museum president Amy Homma praised the honorees for their "extraordinary careers" and their contributions to the film industry. Steven Spielberg and Robert Rodriguez served as co-chairs for the event.
