Stars Lip-Sync to Viral Hit at Chanel Fashion Week

Dua Lipa, Nicole Kidman, Pedro Pascal, and Kristen Wiig participated in a popular TikTok trend, lip-syncing to Adéla's viral song "Nicole Kidman" before the Chanel Spring/Summer 2027 collection presentation in Paris on Monday.

The song, from the Slovakian pop star's debut album, has inspired numerous social media clips. With the song's namesake in attendance, the celebrities couldn't resist joining the trend.

Kristen Wiig initiated the video, lip-syncing the opening lyric, "every single night." Pedro Pascal followed with "I pray that my t*ts are sittin' right," and Dua Lipa continued with "Moulin Rouge, my corset is so tight." The camera then focused on Nicole Kidman, who delivered the line, "Babygirl in control, I feel like Nicole," before the group erupted in cheers.

Kidman expressed her appreciation for Adéla's song, stating she planned to see the singer perform live. The viral track also prompted Kidman to join TikTok, with her first post featuring another of Adéla's songs.

Adéla revealed that the song was inspired by Kidman's performance in the film "Eyes Wide Shut." "I've always loved Nicole, but, when I was writing the album, I had just watched Eyes Wide Shut for the first time," Adéla told Making the Album with Capital Buzz. "I was upset because I wanted more Nicole in the movie. She obviously stole every scene that she was in and I was like, 'I need more Nicole'."

The singer recounted attending a Golden Globes party after writing the song, saying, "I had the swoop. I had the corset on and my t*ts were pressed up and I was like, 'Woof! This is glamour! This is Nicole.' I feel like Nicole and that's what the song is about."

The Chanel show itself featured a collection led by Matthieu Blazy, the brand's artistic director. This marked his second ready-to-wear collection for the house. The collection drew inspiration from early Chanel designs, emphasizing a transition from restriction to freedom, with a notable recurring motif of birds, symbolizing freedom and transformation.

Among the A-list attendees were Kidman, accompanied by her daughter Faith Urban, 15. Lipa sported a vibrant red feathered co-ord set. Kidman, a brand ambassador for Chanel, has a longstanding affiliation with the fashion house, having previously starred in its No. 5 campaign in 2004.
