Sophie Monk's Optical Illusion Halloween Costume Confuses Fans

Sophie Monk has sparked amusement and confusion among her fans with a Halloween costume that creates a striking optical illusion. The television host devised an outfit that makes it appear as though she is carrying her own severed legs.

Following the initial reveal, numerous fans expressed their bewilderment and curiosity about the costume's construction. Monk responded by posting a tutorial on Instagram detailing her creative process. She demonstrated how she stuffed a pair of jeans to simulate legs and cut a slit at the back of the knees, allowing her to step inside the trousers. Additionally, she stuffed a shirt and wore it hanging from her neck to give the impression that her torso was positioned beside the trousers.

Despite the explanation, many of Monk's followers found the illusion hard to comprehend. "I've never watched a how-to that left me with more questions," one user commented, while another stated, "I'm still confused." Performer Michelle Visage remarked, "I still can't wrap my brain around it but it looks SO COOL." Other comments included "I'm still trying to work it out! Epic," and "Hahaha so good." Some fans admitted to struggling with the concept, with one asking, "Am I stupid? Because I still don't get it." Another requested, "I still don't get it... can you turn around maybe?" One viewer offered a potential solution: "It took me a minute to figure out that the cuts in the jeans are below the knees, but BEHIND the knees. Seriously that's the best costume!"

In related news, Monk has reportedly been approached multiple times by ARN about hosting a radio show. A source indicated that the television personality, 46, was courted by the network after Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson's contracts were terminated. However, the insider claimed Monk has declined the offers, stating she has no interest and previously found breakfast radio not to her liking due to her co-host.
