Sir Elton John celebrated his husband David Furnish's 64th birthday with a lavish black-tie event in Venice, Italy. The party took place at Elton's Club, an intimate music venue co-owned by the couple and located within the newly opened luxury hotel Airelles Palladio Venice on Giudecca island.

Furnish, who has managed Sir Elton since 2015 and serves as CEO of Rocketman Media, also performed for the guests during the evening. The celebration featured a three-course dinner and was attended by notable figures, including Sir Elton's godson Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham and his wife Nicola. Notably, Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, were not in attendance.

Other guests included Damian Hurley, son of Elizabeth Hurley, who is also one of Sir Elton's ten godchildren. Photos from the event showed attendees like Susannah Constantine and Donatella Versace. The attendees who traveled for the celebration stayed at the five-star Airelles Palladio hotel, with rooms costing approximately £1,313 per night.

Sir Elton and Furnish, who have been partners for 33 years and wed in 2014, purchased their Venice residence in the early 2000s. The couple also own a summer house in Nice, France, and have two sons, Zachary, 15, and Elijah, 13, born via surrogacy.

The birthday celebration comes after Brooklyn and Nicola spent time with Sir Elton and Furnish in the South of France over the summer, choosing to vacation with them instead of Brooklyn's parents. The Beckham family and Sir Elton have maintained a friendship for over three decades, with David Beckham referring to the singer as 'Uncle Elton' during his football career.
