Sir Cliff Richard Celebrates 86th Birthday in Style

Sir Cliff Richard marked his 86th birthday on Wednesday, celebrating with cake and wine. The singer shared photos of his celebration on Instagram, where he was seen wearing a snake print jacket.
In the images, the pop singer held a glass of wine and posed with his birthday cake before cutting a slice. He captioned the post, "Thank you for all my amazing and thoughtful birthday wishes. I had a lovely day and celebrated with friends (& cake!)"
The celebration follows Richard's tribute to his late friend Cilla Black, with an image in his 2027 calendar featuring a boat named ‘Cilla’. Richard and Black shared a close friendship for over 50 years and owned holiday homes in Barbados together.
The 2027 calendar features various images of Richard, including one on a postage stamp with a cruise ship in the background and another depicting him with his autobiography, "It’s Great To Be Young," released in 1960. Richard expressed his pride in the calendar, stating, "My favourite pastimes are travelling and spending quality time with friends and the pictures in the 2027 calendar are a small snapshot of some wonderful times in May and June this year in various locations."
Richard has been releasing calendars since 1979 and they are estimated to have earned him over £2 million. His 2022 calendar was reportedly the bestselling music star calendar, outselling Harry Styles'. In 2023, Richard announced he would no longer pose topless for his calendars, joking it was time to "gracefully exit the Chippendales market."
