Baker, who was last seen in Season 1 and presumed dead, reappeared in the closing moments of the episode titled "Daddy Issues," leaving viewers and the show's protagonist, River Cartwright, in a state of disbelief.
During Season 1, Sid Baker was presented as a key operative who accompanied River on a mission to rescue a kidnapped student and surveil journalist Robert Hobden. In a critical moment, Sid was shot while covering River's entry into Hobden's house. Though initially indicated to have survived, the show later confirmed her death.
