'Girl Group' stars Rebel Wilson as a pop diva who, after being removed from her group's reunion tour, is sentenced to community service. She then takes on the role of coaching a group of teenage girls for a significant audition, aiming to help them get signed by a record label. The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Wilson shared that she screened it for her former 'Pitch Perfect' castmates to gather their reactions. She mentioned that Anna Kendrick, one of the 'Pitch Perfect' stars, became emotional during the film's finale, which Wilson took as a sign of the movie's impact. "If I could get Anna Kendrick to cry... I knew I had something special," Wilson stated.
