Selena Gomez Shines in Jewel-Encrusted Gown at Rare Impact Fund Benefit
The actress and entrepreneur hosted her annual event in Los Angeles, highlighting her commitment to mental health advocacy.
Selena Gomez made a striking appearance at her annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles on Wednesday, gracing the red carpet in a dazzling jeweled gown.
The event, held at the Hollywood Palladium, showcased Gomez's dedication to her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, and its associated philanthropic arm. The 34-year-old star donned a strapless red dress featuring a corset-style bodice and a skirt that fell just above her ankles. She complemented the outfit with tall red heels, diamond earrings, and the $225,000 engagement ring from her husband, Benny Blanco.
Gomez, who married Blanco in a Santa Barbara ceremony last year, styled her dark hair in sleek curls. Her makeup included smokey brown eyeshadow and a glossy nude lip.
The Rare Impact Fund, launched in 2020, aims to raise $100 million over a decade to support mental health services and advocacy. To date, the fund has reportedly raised $30 million. Gomez, who has publicly shared her own journey with mental health, including a bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2018, has been a vocal advocate for destigmatizing mental illness. She has spoken about her experiences, including managing "mania" and the process of seeking diagnosis through multiple therapists and rehabilitation programs.
Gomez's appearance comes weeks after she and Blanco celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 27. She marked the occasion on Instagram with a black-and-white photo from their wedding day in 2025. The couple, who have been together for over three years, became engaged in December 2024 and married the following year in a ceremony officiated by Lil Dicky, with Taylor Swift in attendance.
Earlier this year, Gomez also discussed future plans for her family, revealing her desire to have children through surrogacy or adoption due to medical reasons that prevent her from carrying a pregnancy. She expressed gratitude for these options, emphasizing that the child would be her own, regardless of the path to motherhood.
