Scarlett Moffatt Welcomes Second Child, Son Clark Xander Dobinson
The 'Gogglebox' star and fiancé Scott Dobinson announced the arrival of their newborn son, adding to their family of three.
Scarlett Moffatt has announced the birth of her second child, a son named Clark Xander Dobinson, with fiancé Scott Dobinson. The "Gogglebox" star shared the news on Instagram Friday, posting a series of images from the hospital.
"Our beautiful boy is here! Clark Xander Dobinson," Moffatt captioned her post. "Arriving a little earlier than expected and not quite as straightforward as planned, our little family of four was made complete on Monday. Our hearts have never been so full, and I’d do it all again for you, Clark."
Moffatt, 35, also revealed that the birth was not entirely straightforward and shared images that appeared to show she had a cesarean section.
The couple are already parents to three-year-old son Jude. Moffatt expressed her joy at completing their family, stating, "Our little family of four was made complete on Monday."
Announcing her pregnancy in April, Moffatt had shared her desire for another boy to give Jude a brother. "All my family and friends knew I wanted another boy," she told The Mirror at the time. "Of course it would've been wonderful to have had a girl – a healthy baby is all that matters – but my preference was a boy, to give Jude a brother."
Moffatt has been open about her journey to expand her family, previously sharing that it took four years to conceive their first child, Jude. She told the Daily Mail last month, "Because it took us so long to have Jude and we were just so grateful that we had Jude, we honestly didn't know if a second child would ever happen for us. But actually, it happened pretty quickly for us."
Her announcement was met with congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities. Moffatt and Dobinson have been together for over seven years.
