Sarah Jane Nader Launches Express Collaboration Inspired by Her Journey

Model and former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Sarah Jane Nader has launched her first fashion collaboration with Express, a collection inspired by her personal style evolution and her journey to New York City.

Nader described the collection as "cool and effortless," with designs that reflect different versions of her style and the places that have shaped her. "Moving [to NYC] definitely made me more fearless with fashion," Nader told Page Six Style. "You’re surrounded by people who wear exactly what they want and don’t over-explain it, and I love that."

The collection features several pieces named after her family members, including her sister Brooks Nader, who is known for her bold fashion choices. Nader stated that she wanted to surprise her family with the collection and that seeing them wear the pieces now is one of her favorite aspects.

Among the highlighted items is the "SJ Shirt & Tie," a traditionally menswear-inspired look that Nader favors for its versatility. "There’s something so sexy about a really tailored, traditionally menswear-inspired look," she said. "I love that it can feel super polished and put together, but if you loosen the tie, undo a few buttons and mess it up a little, it becomes something completely different."

Another notable piece is the "Faux Leather Casting Jacket," which Nader gifted to her "DWTS" partner, Hailey Bills. The collection also includes the "Brookie Dress," named after her sister, and the "Mazzie Minidress," dedicated to her grandmother.

Nader also paid homage to her Louisiana roots with a bedazzled crawfish brooch and named a fall-ready coat after her father, Breaux Nader. The collection also includes oversized wide-leg pants and knit tanks, with Nader emphasizing that even the more polished pieces have a playful element.

"I think I’ve stopped second-guessing myself as much," Nader reflected on her style evolution. "I’ve had access to incredible clothes and stylists and gotten to try things I probably wouldn’t have had the confidence to wear a few years ago."
