Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks are set to star in a new three-part documentary series for ITV2 and ITVX that delves into the extremes of male self-improvement. Titled "Sam & Pete: Dying To Look Good," the show aims to rival the success of Olivia Attwood's popular ITV series "The Price Of Perfection."

The series will see Thompson and Wicks explore the lengths men will go to in pursuit of aesthetic perfection and eternal youth. They will investigate trends such as looksmaxxing, testosterone boosting (t-maxxing), and biohacking, examining the reality of the treatments and procedures men are undertaking in an industry that has seen significant growth.

"The Price Of Perfection," which focuses on similar themes, has achieved number one status on ITVX and is already commissioned for a fourth series. The show's third series recently highlighted the procedures celebrities undergo to maintain their appearance.

Thompson and Wicks, who co-host the podcast "Staying Relevant," will be hosting an ITV show together for the first time. The pair first met on "Celebs Go Dating" in 2017 and began their podcast in 2022.

Wicks also hosts his own U series "For Dog's Sake," and Thompson is set to present the ITV spin-off "I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked" later this year. Wicks is currently filming a one-off special for "For Dog's Sake" in Thailand, which he described as a potentially challenging experience involving basic living conditions.
