S Club Announces Reunion Tour, Sparks New Music Speculation

The British pop group S Club has announced a reunion tour across the United Kingdom, scheduled to kick off in October 2027. The tour will feature performances by original members Bradley McIntosh, Rachel Stevens, Jon Lee, Tina Barrett, and Jo O’Meara. This announcement comes after the group separated from their founder, Simon Fuller, after 28 years, fueling speculation about the potential release of new music.

In a statement, S Club expressed their excitement for the tour, saying, "We can’t wait to get back out on tour, see you all and celebrate the songs, memories and moments we’ve shared together over the years. It’s going to be one BIG party, and we want you all to be part of it!"

Hannah Spearritt will not be participating in the upcoming tour. Her absence follows her withdrawal from the band's 2023 plans for their 25th-anniversary tour, which occurred after the death of bandmate Paul Cattermole.

The tour is set to begin in Glasgow on Friday, October 8, and will include stops in major cities such as Manchester and Nottingham. The group is scheduled for two shows at London's O2 arena before concluding the tour in Dublin on Tuesday, October 26.

S Club, originally known as S Club 7, rose to fame in 1998 and is recognized for hit songs including "Bring It All Back," "S Club Party," "Reach," and "Never Had a Dream Come True." The group achieved success in the US with their single "Never Had a Dream Come True."

The band's reunion plans were previously marked by the release of their first new single in over two decades, "These are the Days," a tribute to Paul Cattermole, who passed away unexpectedly at age 46 in 2023 from heart failure. The group subsequently renamed themselves S Club and proceeded with their 25th-anniversary tour, dubbed "The Good Times Tour."

A source told The Sun that the band is committed to making this return significant. "They all want to make a real go of this return. They have a new management team on board and there are big plans for the live shows to be the best of their careers. There is also talk of recording new music to continue to build on their legacy. This is S Club back for good."
