Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Launches Swimwear Line After Victoria's Secret Return
The model debuted her ViX + Rosie HW collection and returned to the Victoria's Secret runway for the first time in 16 years.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has launched a new swimwear collection with the brand ViX Paula Hermanny, coinciding with her return to the Victoria's Secret runway after a 16-year absence. The British model, 39, is a global brand ambassador for ViX and co-designed the "quiet luxury" range, named ViX + Rosie HW, which focuses on her personal style.
The collection features swimsuits priced at £391 and cover-ups over £400. Huntington-Whiteley stated she had worn ViX for years prior to the partnership and still owned a piece from nearly a decade ago.
This launch follows her appearance on the Victoria's Secret runway in Los Angeles, where she walked for the first time since 2010. She had previously been a prominent Angel for the brand, walking in shows from 2006 to 2010. Her return outfit included an icy-blue lingerie set with crystal body chains and white feathered wings.
Huntington-Whiteley, who has been engaged to actor Jason Statham since 2016 and shares two children with him, expressed excitement for her children to see her runway return. She described the moment as "full-circle" and noted the increased significance of such events now that she is a mother.
She also shared insights into her fitness regimen, emphasizing consistency and strength training. "It's really about feeling strong and fit, as opposed to thinking about a number on the scales or on a measuring tape. Competence builds confidence," she told Vogue.
Huntington-Whiteley previously modeled a lingerie line with Marks & Spencer, launched in 2012. She confirmed that this partnership prevented her from promoting Victoria's Secret. Having parted ways with M&S earlier this year, she was free to return to the Victoria's Secret show.
The Victoria's Secret show also featured Kylie Jenner, who made her runway debut modeling the diamond-encrusted $50 million fantasy bra, becoming the first non-Angel to wear the statement piece.
