Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Excited for Kids to Watch Victoria's Secret Return with Dad
Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shared her anticipation for her children to see her recent Victoria's Secret runway comeback, viewing it as a special moment to share with partner Jason Statham.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley expressed excitement for her children to witness her return to the Victoria's Secret runway, a moment she plans to share with their father, Jason Statham.
The British model, 39, walked in her sixth Victoria's Secret show on Sunday, marking her return after a 16-year absence. She had previously appeared in five consecutive shows from 2006 to 2010.
Huntington-Whiteley, who has been engaged to actor Jason Statham since 2016, showcased multiple white lingerie ensembles, including one with a large fur coat and another with angel wings. She described the return as a "full-circle moment."
"My children will wake up on Monday morning and watch it over breakfast with dad – things just feel all the more special now," Huntington-Whiteley told Vogue. She and Statham are parents to Jack, nine, and Isabella, four.
Discussing her preparation for the show and maintaining her physique, Huntington-Whiteley emphasized consistency in her training. "It's really about consistency because I'm a gym girl – I'm always training and taking care of myself," she said. "I look at my body and I have so much appreciation for having had two children. For me, it's really about feeling strong and fit, as opposed to thinking about a number on the scales or on a measuring tape. Competence builds confidence."
In past interviews, Huntington-Whiteley has spoken about her comfort level and confidence when working for Victoria's Secret. "When you work for Victoria's Secret you have to know how to use your body," she told GQ. "I am not a shy person when it comes to doing things for my job. I've never done anything that makes me feel uncomfortable."
The show also featured Kylie Jenner, 29, making her runway debut and wearing the $50 million diamond-encrusted fantasy bra, becoming the first non-Victoria's Secret Angel to wear the statement piece. The tradition of the Fantasy Bra began in 1996 with Claudia Schiffer.
Huntington-Whiteley and Statham, who share two children, have previously indicated that marriage is not an immediate priority for them. She has also addressed their 20-year age gap, citing his experience and strength as attractive qualities.
The supermodel has also spoken candidly about facing rejection in the fashion industry, reframing it as an opportunity for growth rather than failure. "I don't always get the jobs that I want and some things don't work out the way that I want them to," she said on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast. "I see it as an opportunity for deep growth and actually, when I think of the successes that I've had over the years... they're so fun."
