Rosalía made a striking fashion statement in Manhattan, sporting a meter-long leather bag and gravity-defying ballet heels. The pop star was photographed on Wednesday carrying an oversized accessory that drew comparisons to a popular "Succession" monologue about "ludicrously capacious" bags.

The custom bag, created by Paris-based designer Dana Toder for Lili Conzen's upcoming short film "Krähe," measures over three feet long and is described as large enough to hold a mini-fridge or multiple flat-screen TVs.

Designer Dana Toder told Perfect Magazine that the bag's exaggerated proportions "makes the emotional weight of what we carry almost literal." From certain angles, the bag's shape also appeared to mimic a tutu, a nod to the ballet aesthetic Rosalía has embraced.

This theme extended to her footwear. Rosalía teetered in towering ballet heels from Junko Shimada's 2009 collection. The unique shoes, which feature a slim lucite heel and give the illusion of standing en pointe, were also worn by Lady Gaga in 2009.

The "Lux" tour, which Rosalía concluded in September, frequently featured dance-inspired elements. Earlier in October, she performed on "Saturday Night Live" seemingly en pointe for nearly four minutes, a feat that prompted speculation among ballet professionals about potential hidden support.

Rosalía's ensemble for her New York outing included a simple black tank dress and dark sunglasses, allowing the dramatic accessories to take center stage. She is scheduled to perform at the Latin Grammy Awards on November 12 in Las Vegas.
