Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft Crowned Winners of Celebrity Traitors

The final episode of Celebrity Traitors saw comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft emerge as the winners, securing a £83,000 prize for their chosen charities. They successfully outwitted the Traitors, Maya Jama and King Kenny, in a nail-biting conclusion to the series.

Ranganathan, 48, and Croft, 24, celebrated their victory as host Claudia Winkleman congratulated them. "I trusted Bash and I was right to. I cannot believe it!" Ranganathan exclaimed. Croft, visibly emotional, added, "This might actually be the best day of my life."

The game saw several twists, including Traitor James Acaster revealing his identity on Thursday's episode, a move that ultimately contributed to the downfall of fellow Traitors Jama and King Kenny. In a pivotal moment during the final roundtable, King Kenny turned on Jama, voting for her elimination.

Earlier in the episode, Traitors Jama and King Kenny murdered actor Michael Sheen, who expressed his disappointment at being so close to the end but satisfaction with his journey on the show. The finale also featured a heated exchange between Jama and James Blunt at the final roundtable.

Acaster's decision to reveal himself as a Traitor before the vote had begun was a significant turning point. He explained that he had been made a Traitor against his wishes and found the experience challenging. Filming was temporarily paused due to his anxiety, and he ultimately received all the votes from the remaining players.

For Ranganathan, this win adds another highlight to a successful career. Industry insiders reportedly consider him "the most wanted man on television." Croft, already known for his roles in "Game of Thrones" and "Heartstopper," is also pursuing a music career.

The show, hosted at the picturesque Ardross Castle, has generated considerable viewer interest. Despite earlier accusations of racial bias from contestant Myha'la, BBC bosses are reportedly pleased with the show's overall success and the dramatic conclusion.
