Rihanna has publicly responded to EJ Johnson, the son of NBA icon Magic Johnson, after he referred to the singer as a "nepo baby" and criticized her behavior at Paris Fashion Week. Johnson, attending the Dior runway show, commented in an Instagram clip that the event started an hour late because Rihanna was tardy, adding, "we didn't care to wait for her."
Johnson, who is a media personality and socialite, was also observed having difficulty entering his Paris hotel after pausing for photographs.
Rihanna addressed Johnson's remarks directly in the comment section of an Instagram reel shared by The Hollywood Fix, posting a single word: "damn." This comment quickly garnered significant attention, accumulating nearly 22,000 likes.
Rihanna, 38, arrived at the Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 show on Tuesday in a black dress and a stylish coverup, accessorized with silver earrings, an anklet, and fashionable black sunglasses. Her dark hair was styled in an updo.
Other notable attendees at the Dior event included Jennifer Lawrence, Rosalia, Mia Goth, and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Shortly after the fashion show, Rihanna attended a Paris concert to support her partner, A$AP Rocky, who was performing as part of his "Don't Be Dumb" World Tour. She was accompanied by their sons, RZA and Riot.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who confirmed their relationship in 2020, are parents to three children: RZA, Riot, and Rocki.
