Sophie Elizabeth Taylor, the pregnant girlfriend of Rick Stein's son Jack, shared a loving birthday tribute to the TV chef on Sunday. Her post comes after the announcement that Jack Stein is expecting a child with Taylor, following a secret split from his wife of four years, artist Lucy.
Taylor took to social media to wish her partner a happy 46th birthday, calling him "the best son, partner, brother, friend, daddy and daddy to be." The message was met with well wishes from several celebrities, including Lisa Snowdon and Scarlett Moffatt.
Jack Stein announced the pregnancy last month, sharing a photo on Instagram of himself and Taylor with a baby scan and their dog, with a caption indicating the baby is due in April 2027. Social media activity suggests that Jack and Taylor have been a couple for at least a year and nine months.
Jack, who shares son Milo and daughter Arla with his ex-wife Lucy, reportedly married in Cornwall in July 2022. News of his split from Lucy had not been publicly shared until the pregnancy announcement. His parents, restaurateur Rick Stein and Jill Stein, also experienced a high-profile separation in 2007 after 32 years of marriage.
