Presley Gerber, Model and Son of Cindy Crawford, Dies at 27

Model Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber, died on Sunday at the age of 27. His death was announced by friends on social media, who remembered him as a "beautiful soul" and "kindest" person. Brooklyn Beckham and Paris Hilton were among those who shared tributes to Gerber.

Beckham posted on Instagram, sharing an image of himself and Gerber with the caption, "I am so heartbroken. Presley you were the kindest and we are going to miss you somuch x we love you." Hilton commented on Gerber's final Instagram post hours before news of his passing and later shared a tribute on her Instagram story, stating, "I'm completely heartbroken. I still can't believe this is real... Presley, you were such a beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine."

Brody Jenner also paid tribute, commenting "love you brother" on Gerber's last post. Entertainment journalist Jason Kennedy wrote, "Love you Presley."

Gerber's struggles with drugs and his mental health were documented. In March, he shared his experience with an Ibogaine treatment in Mexico, a substance derived from an African shrub that is reported to help with withdrawal symptoms and reset brain pathways. At the time, his family expressed pride in his efforts. Cindy Crawford commented, "You are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!" His sister, Kaia Gerber, added, "That's my brother. I am so damn proud."

In his post about the treatment, Gerber wrote about facing his fears and the process of finding himself again. "My mantras were love yourself and lis gotta be the last time for this reason. letting go of control didn’t come easy, but I trusted there was something bigger than me guiding it," he wrote. He also thanked the "incredible caring kind and on their sh*t team" that supported him.

His sister Kaia had recently spoken about the impact of his struggles on their family, telling Vogue that such events can "level everyone."
