Karissa Shannon, a former Playboy Playmate, has corroborated claims made by Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner's widow, stating that the late founder of Playboy attempted to coerce her and her twin sister, Kristina, into sexual acts with each other.
Shannon, who was 18 to 20 years old during her time at the Playboy Mansion, told Page Six that Hefner would try to "force" her and her sister to engage in incestuous behavior. She expressed surprise at the reaction to Harris's allegations, having assumed such demands were already known.
Shannon described Hefner's insistence on the twins participating in sexual encounters, particularly on their 19th birthday in October 2008, as akin to sexual assault and rape. She revealed that she and her sister faked these acts to appease Hefner, stating, "we never, never had incest[uous] sex. Like, we never did that. We faked it. We faked it every time. And it was horrible."
According to Shannon, Crystal Harris was aware that the twins were faking the acts, while Hefner remained unaware and believed them to be genuine. Shannon claimed that Hefner found these simulated acts deeply satisfying, calling them "beautiful" and suggesting that if the twins loved each other, they would perform them together.
Harris had previously shared her account in an interview with Lisa Guerrero Unleashed, detailing how Hefner had "tried to get [the Shannon twins] to engage with each other sexually," calling such actions "incest and that is disgusting." Harris also expressed relief that the twins eventually left the Playboy Mansion.
Karissa Shannon indicated that she and Kristina discussed Hefner's demands and collectively decided to fake the encounters to cope with the situation. She stated she had no knowledge of whether other Playmates residing at the mansion were actually engaging in sexual relations with Hefner or others.
