Disturbing bodycam footage from the aftermath of Perez Hilton’s August suicide attempt revealed blood on the walls of his Miami home as officers responded to the scene. The footage, obtained by Page Six, shows first responders placing the celebrity blogger on a stretcher and transporting him into an ambulance.

An unknown woman was seen standing outside the house in distress while first responders attended to Hilton, 48. Hilton was blurred out in the approximately three-minute video.

Hilton was hospitalized on August 4 after live-streaming an apparent self-harming video. According to 911 audio, Hilton's sister, Barbara Lavandeira, informed a dispatcher that the journalist was "having a meltdown" and was "all cut up, covered in blood." She also stated that Hilton was "awake in the bathroom" and had "a box cutter or a knife."

Lavandeira and Hilton’s three children, Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8, fled the home during the incident. Authorities arrived at Hilton’s residence, and he was eventually "safely recovered and transported … to a local hospital."

According to a previous update from Hilton's family, he "experienced significant blood loss and sustained additional injuries" that required surgery. Lavandeira later told Page Six that when she discovered Hilton, he was "standing in front of the shower, naked, cut up, covered in blood, with a box cutter in his hand."

After spending weeks in the hospital, Hilton was transported to a residential treatment program in September. He has since had supervised visitations with his children. Several months prior to the suicide attempt, Hilton was hospitalized for sepsis and underwent emergency surgery for a large blood clot.
