Paige Thorne Shares Postpartum Update 17 Days After Welcoming Son
The 'Love Island' star posted a mirror selfie showcasing her post-baby figure and reflecting on being "dressed up."
Reality television personality Paige Thorne has shared an update on her postpartum recovery, 17 days after giving birth to her first child, a baby boy named Fateley. Thorne, 29, posted a series of mirror selfies to her Instagram account on Wednesday, displaying her midriff in unbuttoned jeans and an asymmetric white top.
"Postpartum 17 days the most I've been dressed up in a long time," Thorne wrote in the caption, adding a humorous note about her socks. She also shared a photo of her newborn son, writing, "Fateley Hayes Wedlake, we never knew a love like this existed."
Thorne welcomed Fateley with her boxer boyfriend, Drew Wedlake, at the end of last month. The couple, who became Instagram official in July of the previous year, announced their pregnancy in March. Earlier in her pregnancy, Thorne had revealed they were expecting a boy through an Instagram video.
Throughout her pregnancy, Thorne had been open with her followers about her experiences, including symptoms such as Braxton Hicks, stomach tenderness, and backache. She also shared her feelings of anxiety about labor, despite having felt calm and excited throughout much of her pregnancy. At 24 weeks pregnant, she had expressed confidence and empowerment, embracing the changes in her body.
Fellow 'Love Island' stars offered congratulations in the comments of Thorne's recent post, with Andrew Le Page writing, "Congratulations," and Dami Hope adding, "YAAAAAY what a beautiful baby boy."
