An iconic apartment from the debut season of the Australian reality renovation show "The Block" was pulled from auction and is now being offered for $1.8 million. The property, located on Roscoe Street in Bondi Beach, was renovated by Paul and Kylie Ingram in the inaugural 2003 season.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment was initially listed with a $1.7 million price guide before its withdrawal from the scheduled weekend auction. The couple finished as runners-up in the competition, with their apartment selling for $747,000 in 2003, marking a $152,000 profit above the $595,000 reserve price.

Following its television debut, the apartment sold in 2009 for $765,150 and was later purchased by its current owner for $1.415 million in 2019. The property now includes concept plans for converting the roof space into a third bedroom, a potential value-add for the beachside home.

The apartment features an open-plan living area, a modern kitchen, a sunroom, and a north-facing aspect. The first season of "The Block" was a significant ratings success for Channel Nine, launching a franchise that has continued for over two decades.

Selling agent Conrad Panebianco of PPD Real Estate expressed confidence in attracting serious buyers, noting that several prospective purchasers have shown repeated interest, particularly in the potential for a third bedroom. The property is situated in a desirable area and offers a feel akin to a semi-detached house due to its layout and balcony.
