Ola Jordan Returns to Strictly 'It Takes Two' After 11-Year Absence

Ola Jordan has made a return to the Strictly Come Dancing family, appearing as a guest on the show's companion program, It Takes Two, on Friday. The appearance marks her first involvement with the BBC show in 11 years, following her departure in 2015.

Jordan, 44, left Strictly after a reported fallout concerning the dismissal of her then-husband, James Jordan, the previous year. At the time, she also alleged that judges had manipulated scores to keep certain couples in the competition, claims which the BBC denied.

Her return to the Strictly fold sees her join former contestants Sarah Hadland and Dr. Ranj on the It Takes Two sofa. Jordan expressed her delight on Instagram, posting a series of photos and writing, "It really does feel like coming home!" She added, "What a feeling to be back on @bbcstrictly after all these years! Stepping back into the Strictly world has honestly felt so surreal. So many incredible memories, so many special people and such a huge part of my life was created here."

Fans also welcomed her back, with social media users commenting on her appearance and expressing joy at seeing her on the program again.

This television appearance comes weeks after Jordan voiced criticism of the current Strictly hosts, citing a perceived lack of chemistry among the new presenting team. She commented that while Emma Willis was "amazing," the other hosts, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe, appeared to be "still finding their feet" and could benefit from a "cleaner" presentation.

In August, Jordan and her ex-husband James announced the end of their 26-year relationship. She recently shared a candid message on Instagram detailing the emotional impact of the split, describing the summer as having "moments when my heart has felt heavier than I ever imagined it could" and acknowledging that "life has changed in ways I never expected."

She credited their six-year-old daughter, Ella, as her "little ray of sunshine" and a source of comfort during challenging times. Jordan also expressed gratitude for the messages and support she has received from family, friends, and fans, stating that their kindness "has meant more to me than you will ever know."
