Nicole Scherzinger sustained a burn injury to her leg on Saturday shortly before a performance in Düsseldorf, Germany. The singer revealed the incident on Sunday, sharing images of burns and blisters on her leg.
Despite the injury, Scherzinger insisted on performing, writing on social media, "Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set - but the show must go on." She thanked the Düsseldorf audience for their support and indicated her intention to continue the tour.
The Pussycat Dolls had announced their comeback in March, releasing their first single in six years. However, the group was forced to cancel the entire North American leg of their reunion tour last month due to low ticket sales. The tour's 33 dates across the United States and Canada were scrapped despite efforts to reduce ticket prices. The band cited a difficult decision made after reviewing the North American run, stating that the UK and European dates were proceeding as planned with strong ticket sales.
The Pussycat Dolls' reunion has also faced controversy due to the exclusion of original members Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta. Both have stated they were not approached about the reunion and learned of the plans publicly. Bachar described the situation as disappointing and emphasized her commitment to transparency, while Sutta characterized the reunion as a "cash grab."
