Nicole Scherzinger Reveals Burn Injury from Pussycat Dolls Tour

Nicole Scherzinger has revealed a significant burn injury on her leg, sustained from boiling water that spilled on her shortly before a Pussycat Dolls performance. The singer shared a series of images on Instagram, contrasting a glamorous backstage selfie with a close-up of the extensive red marks and healing burns around her knee and down her leg.

Scherzinger disclosed that the accident occurred approximately one hour before the Pussycat Dolls were scheduled to perform in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Sept. 26. Despite the burns and blisters, she proceeded with the show, captioning an earlier post at the time, "Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set... But the show must go on."

Her recent Instagram post highlighted the contrast between the public image and the private reality of her health challenges, with the caption "What they see vs. what they don’t see..." The images showed the aftermath of the injury, demonstrating her commitment to performing through pain.

Fans responded with support and admiration for Scherzinger's resilience. Comments included praise for continuing the show despite the injury and calling her a "warrior." Singer Gloria Gaynor also offered words of encouragement, calling Scherzinger a warrior.

The Pussycat Dolls are currently on their "PCD Forever" tour, which features Scherzinger alongside Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt. Scherzinger returned to the stage for a performance in Dublin on Oct. 5, roughly a week after the accident. The tour is set to continue through various UK cities, with a stop scheduled at London's O2 Arena on Oct. 13.

This tour marks the Pussycat Dolls' return to major arenas, though not all original members are participating. Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar, and Melody Thornton are not part of this reunion tour. Sutta has stated she has no plans to rejoin the group, focusing instead on her solo career and upcoming single.
