Nicole Scherzinger Backs Jade Thirlwall's Viral Hit

Nicole Scherzinger has publicly supported Jade Thirlwall, sharing a provocative clip on Instagram that featured Thirlwall's debut solo single, "Angel of My Dreams." The song experienced a surge in popularity after Kylie Jenner walked the Victoria's Secret fashion show to the track.

Scherzinger, 48, posted a video of herself in a red strappy bustier and fringed skirt, with her hair artfully blown by a fan. The song "Angel of My Dreams" played in the background of the clip, which Scherzinger captioned, "Eat your heart out." Thirlwall, 33, responded to the post with heart-eye emojis.

The viral moment for "Angel of My Dreams" occurred when Jenner, 29, sported the $50 million fantasy bra during the Victoria's Secret fashion show. This runway appearance propelled the song onto the US Spotify Daily Top Songs chart, where it debuted at number 197.

Thirlwall, a former member of Little Mix, humorously acknowledged the song's newfound fame. She shared a video on TikTok of herself on the London Underground, with her song playing. She quipped that "nobody on this tube knows that my debut single was playing while Kylie wore the fantasy bra at the VS fashion show."

"Angel of My Dreams" was released in 2024 and previously peaked at number seven on the UK charts. Thirlwall launched her solo career after Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022. She has since released her debut album, "That's Showbiz, Baby!" and received the Best Pop Act award at the 2025 BRIT Awards.

The Victoria's Secret fashion show, which returned to Los Angeles after a 19-year absence, featured a lineup of prominent models including Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, and Elsa Hosk. Musical performances included Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Moroney, and Tate McRae. A notable moment was the introduction of Solange Omon as the brand's newest Angel. The show marked the third year of its return following a six-year hiatus that had impacted the brand's future. The annual show, which began in 1995 and was broadcast on television from 2001, was canceled in 2019 due to criticisms regarding the brand's lack of diversity and controversial comments from its then-chief marketing officer.
