Nicole Scherzinger and Pussycat Dolls Celebrate End of UK Tour Amidst Setbacks

Nicole Scherzinger, 48, celebrated the conclusion of the Pussycat Dolls' UK reunion tour by attending a celebratory dinner with bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt. The outing followed a series of challenges the group has faced during their comeback.

Scherzinger herself had to overcome significant burns after accidentally spilling boiling water on her leg last month, an injury she managed to push through to perform the final shows of the tour. For the celebratory dinner at Nammos restaurant in Mayfair, Scherzinger donned a skintight leopard print catsuit, while Roberts opted for a sheer black gown and Wyatt chose a black lace mini dress.

The Pussycat Dolls' reunion tour, which began in September, has been marked by numerous difficulties. These include poor ticket sales, reported member feuds, cancelled dates, and injuries among the group members. In addition to Scherzinger's burn, Kimberly Wyatt has been recovering from hip surgery, and Ashley Roberts experienced distress before a solo performance.

Further complications arose even before the tour commenced, with controversy surrounding the exclusion of three original members: Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton. The group had announced their return in March with a new single, but the entire US leg of their comeback tour was subsequently canceled due to low ticket sales. Originally planned as a 53-date tour across the UK, Europe, and North America, the trio were forced to cancel 33 dates in the US and Canada after arenas were reportedly 80% empty, even after ticket prices were reduced.

Despite these setbacks, the band stated their UK and European dates were proceeding as planned, with a positive response and several sold-out shows. The group aimed to make the tour a celebration of their music and fan memories.

The tour kicked off in Copenhagen in September, with subsequent shows in Paris, Warsaw, and the UK. Fans who purchased tickets directly from Ticketmaster or AXS were to receive automatic refunds, while those who bought through third-party resellers were advised to contact their point of purchase.

Another incident occurred during a show in Poland when lead singer Nicole Scherzinger reportedly did not perform during the song "Buttons," leaving Roberts and Wyatt to dance on stage while the backing track played. Fan speculation on social media pointed to a technical issue or wardrobe malfunction as the cause, with some users lamenting the absence of former member Melody Thornton, who had previously taken lead vocals and ad-libs on the track.
