New Films Arrive on VOD Including 'Practical Magic 2' and 'Buddy'
Audiences can now rent or buy sequels and new horror comedies, alongside other releases.
This week brings several new film releases to Video on Demand (VOD), offering a variety of genres for home viewing. Among the new arrivals are the highly anticipated sequel 'Practical Magic 2,' the dark comedy-horror 'Buddy,' and the action-comedy 'Runner.'
'Practical Magic 2' reunites stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as the Owens sisters, Sally and Gillian. The film continues the story of their family's curse, which dooms the men they love to an early death. With Sally's daughters now grown and curious about their magical heritage, they face the challenge of breaking the curse.
The horror-comedy 'Buddy' centers on a couple searching for their missing child, who disappeared after appearing on a children's television show. The show's seemingly friendly mascot, Buddy, a plush unicorn voiced by Keegan-Michael Key, is revealed to be far more sinister than his on-screen persona suggests. The film also features voice work from Patton Oswalt and Michael Shannon.
'Runner,' starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson, follows a former soldier who partners with an organ transplant coordinator to deliver a liver to a recipient. Their mission takes a dangerous turn as they are pursued by a drug cartel. This film should not be confused with the recent Gal Gadot thriller of the same name.
In addition to these three features, a selection of other films are available for rent or purchase on VOD platforms. These include 'The Kids Are Not Alright,' 'Following Harry,' 'Don’t Move,' 'Hope (2026),' 'Let’s Have Kids,' 'The Sun Never Sets,' 'Clean Hands,' 'Back To The Past,' 'Etched in Pavement,' 'Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon,' 'Desert Angel,' 'Camp Duval,' 'Creature of the Pines,' 'The Fix (2026),' 'Devour (2026),' 'Memory of Princess Mumbi,' and 'Sunny Dancer.'
