Among the early October releases is "Animals," a crime thriller directed by and starring Ben Affleck, alongside Kerry Washington. The film centers on a Los Angeles mayoral candidate and his wife whose lives are upended by their son's kidnapping, forcing them into desperate measures to raise ransom money. Also debuting on October 2 is "Tyler Perry's Doing Life," a drama exploring the bond between a single mother and a convict through their letters, as they seek new beginnings amidst challenging circumstances.
The month will also see the arrival of "Sacrifice," an action comedy-drama starring Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy. Other notable releases include "Crazy Rich, Incredibly Broke," a dramedy about an affluent family facing financial ruin, and "Less of a Stranger," a biographical musical drama inspired by the life of Polish rock musician Jan Borysewicz.
