Nathan Sykes and Wife Charlotte Expecting First Child

The Wanted star Nathan Sykes and his wife, Charlotte, are expecting their first child, the singer announced Wednesday via Instagram. The couple shared a video revealing they are anticipating the arrival of their baby in April 2027.

The announcement featured a video of Sykes and Charlotte in a photo booth, holding their ultrasound images. Charlotte also showcased her baby bump in the clip, which included an on-screen message indicating the due date.

"We've been keeping a little secret… Baby Sykes is officially on the way," the couple captioned the post.

Sykes and Charlotte married last October in Yorkshire. He described the moment he saw his bride walking down the aisle as "breathtaking," with the song "Clair De Lune" playing and Charlotte silhouetted in the church doorway.

Charlotte, an HR manager, recalled the wedding weekend as "perfect," with ideal weather.

Sykes had announced his engagement to Charlotte in a romantic proposal on a beach in St. Lucia. He chose the same beach where her parents had wed years prior. He shared the news on Instagram with photos of the proposal, writing, "She Said Yes!!!" Charlotte also displayed her engagement ring, estimated by experts to be a 2.5-carat oval-shaped diamond worth approximately £60,000.

Sykes' former bandmates, Max George and Siva Kaneswaran, recently performed together in Las Vegas for their first U.S. show. The Wanted went on hiatus in 2014 to pursue solo projects. The group reunited in 2021 for a charity concert following the terminal brain cancer diagnosis of bandmate Tom Parker, who died in 2022. George and Kaneswaran have since relaunched the group as The Wanted 2.0, though Sykes and Jay McGuinness were not present at the Las Vegas performance.
